Greg is a recognized leader in the areas of finance, risk & compliance. He has thirty-five years of experience as both an industry practitioner, strategy and management consultant, and thought leader. Greg has directed complex change improvement programs across multiple industry verticals through the design, construction, and deployment of the underlying processes, data, information, tools and technology. Some representative examples of Greg’s experience include:

Assisted CFOs develop their multi-year operational strategy, goals and metrics. Led finance function assessments that defined the target state with improvement initiative plans. Led other division and enterprise-wide change efforts to reduce operational risk and non-personnel expenses. For a global client, total savings exceeded $100M annually.

Greg has direct experience leading client programs to address finance target operating model component improvements. Identified the required projects, through a diagnostic approach, to improve efficiency, including “quick hit” efforts. Segmented more significant efforts into their functional and technical components, including definition of the data and financial systems architecture. For one client the identified changes reduced close process from over 60 days to 15 days.

Advised client senior executives on program structure, work plan sequencing, risk / pitfalls and mitigating actions with targeted outcomes / benefits. Addressed global, regional, local challenges. Reviewed inflight projects to identify cross program dependencies and ensure that change approach was synchronized. Recommended formation of PRC Advisory Board across global programs keeping executives informed.
